In-office / Zoom consultations are 90 Minutes and $295.00 (no intake Paperwork other than a HIPPA confidentiality form is required to make an appointment).

Intensives – Three – Five Hours- Individual, Couple or Families

This may be a need to problem solve in a concentrated time versus several weeks of appointments or a relationship/personal crisis needing to regulate feelings and thoughts on life circumstances.

This is offered to individuals, couples, or families. Each 45-60 minutes will be focused on the specifics of client needs. For individuals: regulation exercises are taught and practiced. Thought errors/ thought model explained and demonstrated for current issues. EMDR is appropriate for a history of trauma and would be decided upon before the session. The session is completed with regulation and relaxation. Growth work is discussed in between sessions.

As a couple’s first step, we meet together to discuss challenges and relationship goals. Second step: Each person receives personal attention. Third step: communication scripts are demonstrated as well as psychoeducation on the 4 destructive behaviors and how to begin using their antidotes. Those 4 patterns are Criticism, Defensiveness, Stonewalling, and Contempt. The couple concludes with actionable next steps to begin implementing their relationship goals for their next session.

Couples may choose to begin with an intensive followed by weekly 90-120-minute sessions.

On-Line Secure Video Conferencing – Telehealth

Fees are the same as in-office appointments. Appropriateness is determined before the first telehealth appointment.

Attorney Assessments and Written Reports

Two-Hour Attorney or School Referral Assessment $450.00
Written Reports are $250.00 per hour, prorated after the first hour. Time restraints prevent the commitment of expert testimony.

Concierge Home-Care Therapy

Based on availability for the time requested and location.

Services are the same as in-office appointments with added transportation time.

I offer outpatient therapy for clients. If a crisis should occur and you feel unsafe, call 911 immediately. You may also call 988 for national suicide and crisis lifeline support. Texting is also available via SMS: 988

If there is a need, I’m available to provide support out-of-session. Telehealth is billed in 15-minute increments prorated to a regular 60-minute session.

Insurance

I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I am not in-network or on any insurance panels. I may, however, be able to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for you to receive some reimbursement. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, services can be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan will reimburse for psychotherapy services prior to your first session.

I recommend asking the following questions to your insurance provider to help determine benefits:

Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental health benefits?
Does my health insurance require preauthorization from the provider?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?

Insurance does not cover missed appointments, couples, or family counseling.

If you have concerns please ask me, I can assist further by suggesting alternative therapy that your insurance company may cover. I am happy to connect you to services if the out-of-network service fees prevent you from getting the care you are seeking. Just ask!

Payment

Regardless of method of payment, a credit card will be kept on file as part of the professional contract and for ease of billing. Retainers are accepted with the remaining funds returned when therapy concludes.

Cancellation Policy

Canceled Appointments: If an unavoidable emergency should arise, a courtesy no-charge cancel will apply. I will make every effort to reschedule your session in an emergency. I routinely send courtesy reminders the day before or in the morning of your appointment day. The courtesy reminder is not a confirmation requiring a reply.

If it is necessary to cancel your reserved time, please provide notice by text message or voicemail a minimum of 36 hours before your reserved appointment. Due to back to back-to-back appointments, I need enough time to notify another person and attempt to coordinate the newly available time slot. If you have a 2 PM appt. and you provide notice at 9;30 AM, I may not see your message until well after 2 PM. If I am notified by 9 PM the prior evening I am able to communicate with others before the start of my work day.

The 36-hour notice EXCEPTION is appointments falling on a Monday; please provide your cancellation notice on the business day prior (Friday) by noon. This allows enough time to offer your reserved appointment to a new or existing client in need and on a wait-list.

I will be flexible to help with your time challenge and move you to another opening if available, without incurring the late notice cancel fee. If I don’t receive advance notice, and we are unable to find a day and time that will work in the current week, the regular service fee will be charged. Please note insurance will not pay for missed appointments.

If late notice or cancellations occur 3 times in a period of 8 weeks, you will be offered an option of calling the week before for any cancellations or availability versus having a designated standing appointment. This option is not available for new clients unless waiting for a space to become available.
